18T steel pinion for Baja

This single-piece 18-tooth steel pinion is intended as a direct replacement for HPI Baja models. It features a 5mm bore and a reworked tooth profile to align with the stock spur gear or the SBJ057T option without altering gearbox geometry.

Ideal for straightforward drivetrain swaps or for adjusting final drive ratios to tweak traction or acceleration. The steel construction is aimed at providing stable mesh and longer service life under regular running conditions.

Fitment notes: press the pinion onto the motor shaft so the bore seats completely, set the correct mesh clearance, and tighten the set screw carefully to avoid damaging the motor shaft or teeth. After a short run check the mesh and re-secure the screw if necessary.

Sold as 1pc for RC-scale use only.
