The BJ054 front upper arm is a purpose-made aftermarket replacement compatible with the HPI Baja chassis. It combines an alloy arm with moulded nylon black ball ends to deliver increased resistance to flex while retaining smooth joint articulation on rough tracks.
Designed to replace the OEM plastic arm, this unit mounts to the stock suspension carriers and steering hubs with no chassis cutting required. The nylon ball ends help the pivots move freely, while the alloy beam reduces deflection under braking and during jumps, giving a more consistent steering feel.
Installation is aimed at intermediate hobbyists: remove the wheel and original arm, fit the BJ054 using the existing hinge pins or supplied mounting locations, and confirm full steering sweep clearance. Recheck all fasteners and ball seating after a short shakedown run.
This alloy upper arm is intended for racers and weekend drivers who want firmer front-end behaviour and less wear at the ball joint without reworking the chassis.
