Front gearbox mounting plate for Bullet 3.0

This single-piece alloy front gearbox plate is produced for the HPI Bullet 3.0 platform. It is intended for RC-scale nitro MT and ST machines that use the WR8 or Bullet 3.0 front gearbox layout and serves as a replacement for the original plastic plate when greater rigidity or a renewed fitment is needed.

Function and fit: the plate holds the front gearbox assembly together and ensures the internal gearset and bearings remain correctly aligned within the WR8 / Bullet 3.0 front end. While not a performance upgrade in isolation, an alloy plate gives consistent alignment under load and eases regular servicing.

Refit and tools: access requires basic front-end teardown to remove the old plate, move bearings or seals if required, then refit using standard hex heads. Use common RC workshop tools, check gear mesh carefully during assembly, and avoid over-torquing fixings.

Use cases: aimed at drivers and mechanics maintaining or repairing WR8 and Bullet 3.0 nitro MT/ST cars, the plate is useful after impacts, during chassis rebuilds, and when a steady gearbox layout is needed for setup work.
