Precision alloy steering saver for Bullet chassis

This replacement horn is an alloy servo saver designed for HPI Bullet scale models. It acts as the interface between the servo horn and steering linkage, absorbing shocks from sudden inputs or collisions to lower stress on the servo gears.

The orange-anodized alloy provides a tougher, more wear-resistant contact surface than the original plastic part while remaining light enough for scale mounting. It is intended as a direct replacement on Bullet 3.0 MT and ST nitro chassis when the standard saver is worn or when a firmer steering feel is desired.

Fitting requires removing the original horn retaining hardware, swapping in this alloy saver, confirming centring and travel, then retightening to the recommended torque. Small linkage adjustments may be necessary to return the steering to neutral after replacement. Fit it during maintenance or when tuning steering characteristics.

Standard hex drivers or screwdrivers that match your servo horn fasteners are all you need; follow your model's torque spec to avoid overstressing threads.
Because the alloy is stiffer than plastic, expect crisper steering input. You may reduce centring deadband or adjust endpoint travel to fine-tune response.
Yes — check for bends, stripped threads or surface damage and replace the part if it is bent to continue protecting the servo.
