Manufactured in hardened steel and supplied as 1 pr, this replacement shaft fits Sav13170 damper units used on HPI Savage 21 models. It serves as the internal rod inside the shock and is suitable for routine maintenance, rebuilds and parts replacement.

To install, disassemble the Sav13170 damper assembly, remove the existing shaft and install the new rod following standard shock rebuild practice. Check seals, O-rings and the piston for wear, and ensure the shaft is straight and rotates freely in the damper bushings.
