Machined Aluminium 5-Spoke Rims for Savage 25

The HSA-022A/S2 is a 3Racing aluminium 5-spoke rim set engineered for the HPI Savage 25 chassis. Supplied in pairs, these metal rims offer a stronger, cleaner-looking alternative to factory plastic wheels.

Designed for RC enthusiasts who upgrade at the component level, these rims can change wheel balance and improve long-term robustness around the hub area. The set is finished in silver and intended solely for scale RC use.

To fit, remove the existing wheel nut and detach either the beadlocked or glued tyre, swap the rim, then refit with your original wheel hardware. Re-check hex fit and re-torque after the initial run to prevent loosening from vibration.

Since aluminium alters rotating inertia from stock parts, carry out test drives and adjust slipper clutch or gear ratios as required to maintain the handling you want on a Savage 25 build.

Specifications

  • Material: Aluminum
  • Model Number: HSA-022A/S2
  • Compatibility: For HPI Savage 25 chassis

Choose these rims to uplift the style and strength of Savage 25 wheels, confirm fit before extended runs, and re-torque after first use for dependable performance.

They are intended for Savage 25 tyre setups; verify whether your tyres are glue-on or use a beadlock, and ensure wheel nut and hex sizes match the rim.
Typical wheel tools suffice: wheel nut spanner, pliers for tyre work, and basic hex drivers for beadlock screws where applicable.
Tyre wear depends more on compound and terrain; aluminium rims can change handling slightly but do not inherently increase tyre wear by themselves.
If you notice vibration at speed, check tyre seating and consider balancing; many users run without additional balancing, but balanced tyres can improve high-speed stability.
