Savage alloy differential lock upgrade

This alloy differential lock is intended for HPI Savage platforms such as Savage, Savage X and Savage K4.6. It replaces the standard diff internals to produce a firmer engagement profile suitable for tuning traction and managing load transfer on rough or loose surfaces.

Fitment is specific to the Savage range and follows conventional diff replacement procedures: the unit installs into the existing differential housing and secures with the factory attachment points. Check gear mesh and clearances before tightening and cycle the suspension to ensure there is no binding.

In tuning terms the component helps limit unwanted differential slip during acceleration and braking, which can stabilise throttle response and weight transfer on a variety of track surfaces. It is normally used alongside gear and damper adjustments for a balanced setup.

Inspect the engagement surfaces and bearing seats periodically, clean out grit and reapply differential grease after heavy runs to preserve consistent performance and lifespan.
