Heatsink upgrade for Savage engines

This finned heatsink fits HPI Savage 21, Savage 25 and Savage X 13 engine heads and is listed under part code HSA-027/B. The added fin array increases surface area around the head to assist heat dissipation during sustained runs.

It installs in place of the original head cooling component and uses the existing mounting points on compatible Savage heads. Before final assembly, confirm there is adequate clearance with your exhaust and stack, and apply thread-lock and correct torque to the fasteners as advised by your engine manual.

As a passive cooling accessory it will not alter ignition timing or carburetor settings, but it can reduce peak head temperatures under load and help engines maintain predictable performance over longer sessions.
