This alloy fuel tank protector is a compact RC-scale accessory designed for HPI Savage nitro off-road models. Constructed from aluminium alloy in a purple finish, it mounts around the tank area to lessen impact from brush and debris while maintaining service access.

The protector fits Savage-series HPI models, so double-check chassis layout and tank mounting points before fitting. It is an external shield only and will not modify fuel lines or internal tank shape.

Installing the protector requires basic disassembly near the fuel tank fastenings and typical hand tools; use existing mounting holes where possible to avoid chassis modification. After installation, confirm there is adequate clearance to the exhaust, steering and servo linkages during suspension movement.
