The HSA-028 set delivers two aluminium dampers intended as replacement shock units for HPI Savage 21, Savage 25 and Savage X vehicles. These aluminium bodies give a stiffer, more durable option compared with standard plastic components commonly fitted from the factory.
Designed to preserve stock mounting geometry, the dampers are sold as tuning components to alter suspension behaviour rather than as an all-in-one upgrade kit. They are ideal for riders experimenting with spring rates, oil viscosity or progressive tuning to achieve a preferred handling balance.
Installation follows standard shock replacement steps: remove wheels or links as required, unbolt the existing shock from its upper and lower mounts and reinstall the aluminium unit using the original hardware. Confirm fitment and pin sizes before final use to avoid clearance issues.
