The HUDY 101100 Advanced Comm Lathe is designed for precise commutator preparation, offering stability and repeatable adjustment. Hardened steel "V" guides plus plastic clips ensure the tool stays aligned, while the black hard-anodized finish adds protection against everyday workshop wear.

Stable travel and minimal backlash

Fine-pitch lead screw action provides very small, predictable tool steps and the tool block is configured to limit backlash for crisp cutting. Anti-vibration pads are glued to critical areas to keep chatter down and cuts clean.

Ready-to-use package

The lathe includes a fitted slave motor for connection to a 4.8V DC supply, along with a switch box and connection cable for quick setup. An adjustable back stop with a purple wheel enables fine control, and the supplied carrying case, drive belts, shims and three hex-wrenches make setup and service straightforward.
