On-Road Carbon Fan Extension

This carbon extension plate is built to carry two side-mounted cooling fans on an aluminium dual motor fan mount, delivering a compact dual-side arrangement for on-road RC vehicles. It is intended for use with HUDY #293190 aluminium dual motor fan mount and supports two 40 mm fans that direct airflow towards the motor during extended runs.

Made from high-grade carbon material from USA, the plate offers a lightweight yet rigid solution that minimises added mass while ensuring accurate alignment and fit with the aluminium mount. The compact, low-profile layout helps maintain a low centre of gravity and neat installation on congested on-road chassis where motor cooling is required without large external ducting.

Installation notes: this accessory is designed to attach to the #293190 aluminium mount and is sized for 40 mm fans only. Check fan plug orientation and wiring clearance on your chassis before fitting, and secure the fans with the recommended fasteners for a solid, vibration-free installation.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some HUDY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 8-12 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Align the extension with the mounting points on HUDY #293190, feed fan wiring to avoid pinch points, then secure with the fasteners recommended by your mount instructions to ensure a rigid connection.
Route fan cables to clear moving parts and battery areas, confirm connector orientation before fastening, and leave enough slack for chassis flex to prevent stress on the connectors.
Use the recommended fasteners and, if necessary, thread-locking compound on metal screws where appropriate to keep the fans solidly mounted and reduce the chance of vibration loosening.
