Italeri made 1/35 Schwimmwagen (0313) Armored Cars Military Series assembly kit
Since the Volkswagen 82 (Kubelwagen) proved incredibly effective through the campaign in Poland, it turned out important to produce everincreasing levels of this car. Later, Ferdinand Porsche developed an amphibian form of this automobile, called the Schwimmwagen. The lightweight with this automobile (about 1/2 ton) allowed crossing of dirty areas, since only two dudes were enough to help keep this car going. For reconnaissance and liaison missions, water must certanly be crossed frequently, that has been impossible along with other automobiles.
