The BMW R75 sidecar combination is a standout example of wartime motorcycle design. This Italeri 1/35 kit reproduces that form, giving modellers a chance to assemble a faithful representation of a vehicle widely used by German forces for scouting and liaison work.
As the German army mechanised, motorcycles like the R75 became essential for mobility. Produced in numbers alongside the Zundapp KS 750, the R75 saw around 16,500 units made. Its sturdy construction allowed speeds in the region of 92 km/h and the sidecar could be fitted with an MG 34 for combat support.
This Italeri kit offers detailed moulding that rewards careful assembly and painting. The 1/35 scale is well suited to diorama work and museum style displays when finished properly.
