The Italeri 1334S presents the Macchi MB-326K, a design that moved from two-seat training duties to a single-seat ground attack role. First flown in the 1950s, the type used the Bristol Siddley Viper engine and attracted interest from more than ten nations.
The MB-326K variant modelled here carried an uprated turbojet and could accept weapon loads up to about 1800 kg, combining bombs, rockets and guns. The kit's components reflect those fittings, allowing builders to assemble a compact but detailed representation.
