The Italeri 1366S kit reproduces the SPAD S.XIII at 1/72 scale, a development from the SPAD VII produced by Societe Pour l'Aviation et ses Derives. The type incorporated aerodynamic improvements and a Hispano-Suiza engine that combined to improve speed and handling for frontline pilots such as Rene Fonck and Francesco Baracca.
Parts reflect the fighter's classic wing and tail outlines and the kit includes a super decals sheet with five selectable schemes for historically informed finishes. This compact subject is well suited to display models, grouping with other WWI fighters, or diorama scenes.
