The Italeri 1367S recreates the Antonov An-2, a durable Soviet utility biplane first appearing in 1947 and produced until 1978. Celebrated for its adaptability, the An-2 served freight, passenger, agricultural and floatplane roles and could carry as many as 14 passengers in some layouts. Thousands were produced in the Soviet Union with additional builds in China and Poland, making it a staple of postwar aviation.
