Designed in the 1970s by Fairchild Republic, the A-10 Thunderbolt II was created to provide persistent close air support. The aircraft is easily identified by its twin General Electric turbofan engines and the 30 mm GAU-8/A Avenger cannon. Its performance in the 1991 Gulf War demonstrated its role against armoured targets. The Italeri 1376S model recreates the A-10s silhouette and offers four decal options for authentic Gulf War markings.
