The Italeri 2798S brings the Mig-23 MF/BN to the modelling bench, representing a key Mikoyan-Gurevich design with its signature variable-geometry wings. The prototype was powered by a Tumanskij afterburning turbojet and could approach speeds of Mach 2.3. This kit focuses on the aircrafts external profile and presents parts that assemble into a convincing scale aircraft.
Supplied decals cover six markings and the included colour instruction sheet assists with accurate painting and decal placement. The finished model works well as a standalone display or as part of an aviation diorama reflecting Cold War operations.
