Developed for competitive racing in the late 1970s, the B.M.W. M1 Procar competed under Group 4 rules at F1 support events. Italeri's 1/24 kit captures that competition spirit and the car's mid-mounted engine layout. Builders will find the silhouette and racing lines true to the original Procar examples.
The model presents the M1 with a fitted rear wing and pronounced over fenders reflecting the race modification package. Overall model length is about 181mm, giving hobbyists a good scale to apply weathering and detailing. The inline six engine is modelled with visible components, and the rear engine cover is designed to open for display.
The cockpit recreates the spartan race environment with a basic dash and roll bar. Decals are included so you can accurately place period race markings on the finished kit.
