1/35 VK 4501(P) Porsche Design for Advanced Builders

The VK 4501(P) is Porsche's heavy tank prototype from the Second World War, notable for its engineering approach despite limited numbers built. Italeri's 1/35 rendition recreates key external features and mechanical layout for a detailed build experience. While the Henschel hull became the production choice, Porsche concepts remained influential in later conversions like the Jagdpanzer "Ferdinand". The kit comes with glueable rubber tracks and a full colour instruction sheet to support accurate construction.

  • Scale: 1/35
  • Includes: Glueable rubber tracks
  • Instruction: Color instruction sheet
Basic tools include cutters, fine files, hobby knives, plastic cement, brushes and paints; precision tools help when fitting small track links and details.
The kit provides decal options typically shown on the instruction sheet; check the sheet for suggested markings and placement.
When properly glued and allowed to fully cure, the rubber tracks form a stable fit suitable for static display, though they are not designed for heavy handling.
Many builders paint subassemblies prior to final joining to reach recessed areas; follow the instruction sequence and mask mating surfaces where needed.
