The United states Bantam company, Willys Overland, and Ford motor Co. competed with every other.Willys model was indeed chosen, which, after a quick run of 1500 cars, went into mass production at the start of 1941 and reached a complete production of 640.000 products from which 277.000 pieces was indeed generated by Ford under a licensing contract. This implies that the Jeep wound up being the most commonly produced light car of this war industry during World War II.
