The part is intended to replace the stock carrier on the specified platforms while using the original mounting interfaces and hardware wherever compatible. Installation normally follows standard front-end service: take off the wheel and upright, remove the factory carrier, move bearings or bushings across, and attach the aluminium carrier to the chassis bellcrank section.
As a tuning component the aluminium carrier supplies a firmer base for steering components and the front suspension pickup points, which supports consistent alignment during setup and track running.
