Chassis Ballast for KC10

The Kyosho CLW004 counterweight is supplied as a pair of ballast pieces specifically made to fit the KC10 chassis. Its purpose is chassis balance tuning on 1/10 electric touring models, allowing subtle shifts in axle load that affect turn-in, mid-corner balance and traction without altering suspension geometry.

Fitment is restricted to the KC10-designated mounting or ballast spots, using the chassis' factory attachment points. Installation is simple: position the weights where the KC10 accommodates them and fasten with the original hardware to keep factory alignment. There is no need to modify the motor, ESC or gearbox when using these parts.

In setup work CLW004 acts as a balance tool rather than a standalone performance component. Fit or remove the two pieces to tune front-to-rear bias for varying track conditions or driving techniques, and evaluate handling before changing suspension or tyre setup.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Kyosho items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Yes. They attach to the KC10 using the chassis' existing mounting points and standard hardware, so no special tools or drive-train changes are necessary.
These are tuning inserts and do not by themselves improve component longevity; use them to refine handling rather than expecting reduced wear on drivetrain parts.
