The Kyosho CLW005 AL Motor Mount is an RC-scale replacement part made for the KC10 chassis platform. Constructed from machined aluminum to improve clamping stability and thermal behavior, it sets the motor with closer tolerances than many stock plastic mounts, helping preserve gear mesh and alignment when under drive loads.

Designed specifically for KC10-series applications; do not assume it will fit other chassis or full-size vehicle models. The mount functions as a tuning aid by providing a stable, immobile surface for the motor to bear against, which can limit movement that affects spur and pinion engagement during acceleration and braking in road-focused setups.

Installation requires motor removal and precise re-alignment of the pinion and spur to the recommended mesh. Confirm clearance around adjacent parts like the ESC and battery tray when installing this aluminum mount. Inspect fasteners and alignment after initial testing runs to ensure continued security.
