KC10-compatible super soft shock springs

A set of four Kyosho CLW009 Super Soft Springs for KC10 chassis shock assemblies. These springs have a much softer rate than standard units, increasing compliance and sensitivity to small bumps on 1/10 scale electric RC models.

Fitment is simple: remove the shock from your vehicle, open the shock cap and withdraw the shaft, exchange the existing springs for the CLW009 set, and reassemble. If your setup uses staggered or tuned pairs, maintain correct left/right placement and confirm the shaft moves freely before refitting.

Tuning notes: the super soft springs reduce preload and raise compliance, which can enhance traction on rough or slippery surfaces but may trade off mid-corner support and increase body roll unless damping and preload are tuned accordingly.

Compatibility: Intended for KC10 chassis shock assemblies; only use where KC10-compatible shocks are specified.

Fit CLW009 springs when you want gentler suspension response on KC10-based 1/10 cars, and double-check fitment with your current shock hardware before finishing reassembly.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Kyosho items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
They are tailored for KC10 shock assemblies; other shock types may differ in inner diameter, spring seat design, or shaft length. Compare dimensions before attempting to fit them into non-KC10 shocks.
Spring wear depends mainly on usage and environmental factors. The CLW009 material and finish are standard for tuning springs; inspect for fatigue regularly if you run in harsh conditions.
Reduce preload to suit the softer rate, then test progressively. Small adjustments to preload and damping will help you find the right balance between roll and bump absorption.
