This 1/24-scale finished display model replicates the Konica Minolta Honda RC211V and is produced for collectors who prefer an out-of-box exhibit piece.
The RC211V was Honda's premier-class racing machine from the early 2000s, built around a V5 engine layout used in top-level competition between 2002 and the mid-2000s. The Konica Minolta-liveried machines were run by a satellite team and are recognised for their blue-and-white sponsor colours; Makoto Tamada raced that livery during the 2005 season. The original motorcycle design concentrated on chassis balance and high-revving engine performance suited to circuit racing.
The finished kit reproduces the RC211V's outer shapes and sponsor livery at 1/24 scale, with the sponsor logos applied at manufacture. The principal parts are cast in ABS resin; tyres and the seat use elastomer material. The model is supplied mounted to an ABS display base under a clear case; a screw on the underside of the base lets you remove the bike and place it on the included stand. A clear-window box is used for presentation and protection.
A ready-made 1/24 display model emphasising accurate external detail and immediate display appeal.
