The Kyosho 30620 - 1/10 EP 4WD Racing Buggy OPTIMA PRO restores the familiar rear-motor 4WD layout with practical modern improvements. As the 15th entry in Kyosho's Vintage Series, it blends period correct styling with components suited to contemporary RC use.
The body retains its streamlined profile and includes moulded cut lines for attaching the Javelin wing. Power is routed via a belt-type 4WD system that can be swapped to a chain-drive using the optional OT226 chain. Using 48-pitch pinion and spur gears and a slipper clutch helps the car tolerate higher power outputs while reducing gear wear.
The kit features a moulded resin radio plate that echoes the original, and the battery is held by a hook-and-loop strap to suit modern packs.
