Introducing the MR-03EVO Miniature Race Base

Kyosho's MR-03EVO, launched in December 2018, refreshed the MINI-Z concept by separating the receiver board from the main chassis. That change gives pilots the freedom to select compatible transmitters and fine tune their setup. High processing speed and practical modularity helped the platform gain traction among racers.

Performance Profile of the 5600KV Motor

The included KYOSHO SPEED HOUSE XSPEED 56 brushless motor delivers a 5600KV rating and is mounted in a one-piece aluminium housing to help with heat management. Included full ball bearings and the Ball Diff Set II lower friction and improve drivetrain responsiveness under load.

Adaptability and Compatible Transmitters

With separate ESC and receiver modules, the chassis can be configured for brushed or brushless driving styles with minimal work. Supported receiver units are RA-40, RA-41, RA-42, and RA-43, allowing connection to many Futaba and Flysky transmitters. That broad compatibility makes it a practical upgrade path from Readyset kits to tuned race setups.
