The Kyosho Inferno family has been a leading choice in 1/8 nitro off-road racing for more than ten years, with eight World Championship victories to its name. The MP9, released in 2008, claimed a notable victory at the 12th World Championship in Thailand in 2010. To celebrate that record Kyosho produced the Inferno MP9 TKI4 10th Anniversary Edition, fitted with premium items and optional parts worth over 30,000 Yen to increase its ready-to-race capability.

Chassis Improvements and Suspension Strengthening

This anniversary release preserves the TKI4 chassis strengths and adds practical enhancements. The front receiver battery placement from the TKI3 improves handling balance. Stronger front suspension arms enhance traceability and cornering precision. Longer universal shafts and extended tie rods with reinforced ball ends raise drivetrain robustness for demanding tracks.

The aerodynamic clear body is shaped for improved cornering and traction, while the twin-finned wing helps keep the buggy stable when jumping. The Gurney flap provides extra rear bite across varying conditions. Included items like the air cleaner holder and fuel filter holder help prevent engine problems during extended runs.

Assembly Requirements and Sizing

Overall dimensions are 490mm length, 307mm width and 180mm height, with 28mm ground clearance and a 325mm adjustable wheelbase. Tires and engine are sold separately; the kit contains the special clear body, wheels, logos and window masking seals. Required extras include a 2-channel R/C system, a 21-class engine, muffler, manifold and common finishing hardware.
