Introducing the Sand Master 2.0 Readyset
The Kyosho Sand Master 2.0 is a 1/10 scale entry in the EZ series that combines practical handling with straightforward setup. Its 2WD configuration makes it forgiving for newer drivers while leaving room for experienced users to refine performance.
Everyday Features for Local Tracks
This model includes a 2.4GHz R/C system that takes care of frequency allocation so you can focus on driving. The design emphasises low maintenance, with fewer fiddly parts and included tools to speed up common tasks.
Delivered as a Readyset, the chassis is pre-assembled and the body is supplied with decals so you can get on track quickly. The signature yellow pipe frame adds classic sand buggy styling, and snap-on panels give easy access to the internals.
Robust Mechanical Layout
The gearbox houses a built-in differential that improves cornering and longevity with beefier gear modules. An FRP dust plate keeps grit away from gears, and many optional parts from earlier Sand Master models fit this chassis for upgrades. The battery bay is rear-accessible for quick swaps.
Suspension uses front and rear double-wishbone arms with adjustable ride height and pre-filled oil shocks for consistent damping. The G22 brushed 540 motor provides usable power, and the motor mount avoids the need for backlash tweaks. A spring-loaded steering servo saver helps shield the servo during impacts.
Electronics and Tyre Performance
The car comes with a 6kg waterproof steering servo for accurate control. The KYOSHO SPEED HOUSE KA040-71W 40A ESC is compatible with NiMH and LiPo batteries and uses Super Plug (Deans) connectors to reduce voltage loss. Dual-purpose tyres are chosen to perform across varied surfaces from dirt to tarmac.
