Performance bearings for drivetrain tuning

The Kyosho BRG417 pair offers two shielded 7x14x4 bearings designed for small rotating parts in R/C drivetrains and hubs. Shielding lowers contamination risk while maintaining low friction for improved responsiveness. The 7x14x4 code gives bore, outer diameter and width so you can select the correct replacement bearing for your application.

Correct fitting improves results: press the bearing onto the outer race using a suitable tool to avoid stressing the rolling elements, check shaft clearance and bore size prior to seating, and secure with the model's original spacers or clips. Two bearings per pack makes it convenient to handle both left and right positions or to carry a spare.

When tuning, keep shields clean and avoid heavy greases that trap dust inside the shield gap. A light amount of RC-specific bearing oil reduces drag and extends life. Exchanging worn bearings can noticeably sharpen steering and reduce drivetrain noise without altering gear ratios or suspension setup.
