Are these springs suitable for front or rear only?

The springs can be fitted to either end, but front and rear changes interact so modify one end at a time and evaluate handling before further changes.

Do I need special tools to fit them?

Basic RC tools like small pliers and a hex driver set are sufficient; a spring compressor for dampers can speed the job but is optional for experienced builders.

Will they change ride height?

Spring rate influences sag and ride height under load; harder springs reduce sag, so check and readjust preload after swapping to maintain desired ride height.
