Trimmed side guard engineered for MP10

This is an RC-scale replacement side guard made for the Kyosho MP10 chassis. The updated profile reduces thickness and overall height to save about 18g compared with the stock part and narrows toward the rear to increase body clearance and remove excess material.

Operationally the guard keeps the chassis edge line while reducing weight and potential shell contact. For tuning it provides a small mass reduction at the chassis flank and helps preserve uniform clearance between the body and suspension travel, aiding fine adjustments to balance and on-road handling.

The guard is intended to use the existing MP10 mounting points and hardware; align to the chassis flange, tighten screws evenly, and avoid overtightening to prevent distortion. After installation check the shell fit and make minor alignment changes if the body touches the new profile.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Kyosho items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
By trimming material from the side guard the IF614B slightly shifts mass inward, offering a modest change that can make the chassis feel marginally more responsive during quick direction changes.
No modifications are required; the part is designed for direct fitment to the MP10 using the chassis mounting points and existing fasteners.
The tapered rear profile increases clearance during suspension compression, which reduces the tendency for the body to rub at full droop or under heavy cornering.
Seat the guard flush with the flange, tighten bolts in sequence to distribute pressure evenly, and confirm shell clearance before final torque to avoid deformation.
