Optimise indoor traction with Kyosho MBT003M

The Kyosho MBT003M medium sponge tyre set fits the LAZER ZX-5FS and provides a mid-range firmness aimed at steady grip on carpet and urethane. These tyres suit drivers seeking consistent handling in club and regional indoor events.

Standout points of the MBT003M range

  • Track focused grip: The sponge compound is tuned for effective adhesion to carpet lanes, helping improve corner speed and exit traction.
  • Medium sponge feel: A moderate density that balances tackiness and resistance to wear for indoor sessions.
  • Direct compatibility: Engineered to install cleanly on LAZER ZX-5FS wheels for trouble-free replacement.
Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Kyosho items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.

Are these suitable for outdoor off-road running?

No, the MBT003M is optimised for indoor carpet and urethane. Using them outdoors on rough surfaces will shorten their life and reduce grip.

How do medium sponges compare to soft or hard options?

Medium sponge gives a middle ground between the initial bite of soft foam and the longer life of firmer foam, making it versatile for many indoor track conditions.

What is the best way to store these tyres between meetings?

Keep them flat in a cool, dry space away from sunlight and chemicals. Avoid stacking heavy items on top to prevent deformation.
