Compact alloy heat sink for Mini Inferno speed controllers

This aluminium alloy heat sink is an aftermarket accessory for the Kyosho Mini Inferno chassis, delivered as a single piece. It is designed to sit over or adjacent to a Mini Inferno speed controller to help transfer heat away from the ESC and reduce steady temperature increases during extended sessions on the track.

Fitting is straightforward for regular tuners: position the sink against the ESC surface or fin array, secure it using the supplied screw into the ESC mounting or a chassis tie point, and ensure the sink does not come into contact with motor leads or rotating parts. This is an RC model accessory and not suitable for full-size vehicles.

From a tuning perspective, a shallow alloy sink can help control ESC heat buildup during heavy throttle use, supporting steadier motor timing and braking responses when conditions get hot. Monitor the ESC after installation and adjust airflow or the sink location to dial in the best cooling for your setup.

Possibly, if the ESC has a matching flat area and mounting point. Always verify physical fit and clearance before committing to a permanent fitment.
Adding an external sink is a user modification; check your ESC manufacturer's warranty terms. Installation itself does not require internal alterations.
Observe ESC temperature across a few runs and adjust timing or cooling airflow as needed to maintain consistent performance under load.
