Designed as an add-on for the Kyosho Mini Inferno speed control zone, this heatsink features a purple woven appearance and mounts over the ESC cover to boost passive thermal dissipation. The part aims to improve air contact with the speed control housing during both running and setup.
Fitment is aimed at competent hobby mechanics: line up the heatsink for full surface contact, use the Mini Inferno's original screw positions and hardware, and ensure there is no interference with wiring or the motor pinion. If screws are snug, use an appropriate hex driver and apply light torque to avoid stripping the threads.
For tuning and track use, the heatsink increases exposed surface area to assist cooling by convection, helping to stabilise ESC temperature during longer sessions. It is complementary to ventilation strategies and not a substitute for dedicated active cooling when required.
