Front gearbox upper arm bulk notes

This heavy-duty alloy rear upper arm bulk is an upgrade replacement for Kyosho Mini Inferno ST and Mini Inferno 09 models. It mounts at the front gearbox area to accept the rear upper arm link points and is supplied as a single metal unit with mounting hardware for a straightforward swap.

The part secures the upper arm mount and increases rigidity at the gearbox interface, helping to cut down on unwanted movement. Installing an alloy bulk in place of the original plastic piece typically reduces deflection at the pivot and can provide more consistent steering and suspension behaviour during spirited runs.

Fitting should be simple for builders familiar with Mini Inferno service. Remove original retainers, move over any bearings or links, install the alloy bulk with the included screws, then check steering clearance and suspension travel before finishing the job.

No chassis modification is normally required if your Mini Inferno matches the ST or 09 front gearbox layout; fitment should be direct using the supplied screws.
Using a small amount of medium-strength threadlocker on the mounting screws is a common practice to prevent loosening during aggressive driving, though it is optional depending on your maintenance routine.
The alloy bulk itself does not alter geometry, but by stiffening the mount it reduces flex-related changes, which can make your setup feel more consistent and predictable lap to lap.
