38mm aluminium dampers built for Mini-Z AWD

The 38mm aluminium front/rear damper is a replacement unit for KYOSHO Mini-Z AWD vehicles, identified as MZA338. Made from 6061-T6 aluminium, the bodies create a firm mounting for stock shock springs and include an adjustable top spring retainer to control preload and perceived damping. The silver spring included mirrors the original wire size while the black springs provide extra tuning choices.

Meant for use in either front or rear damper locations on the Mini-Z AWD chassis, these units are supplied with the basic fitting hardware and are sized to match Mini-Z scale shock spacing. Simple hobby tools suffice for installation and careful preload adjustment is recommended to set the handling balance you want.

Use these dampers to replace tired shocks or to experiment with spring preload for improved cornering; always verify clearance and travel before completing the build.
