On-road BBS alloy wheels for Mini-Z AWD

This BBS-style aluminium wheel set is an aftermarket upgrade for the KYOSHO Mini-Z AWD range, identified as model MZA009F/R/+2.5 from GPM. Supplied as a front and rear pair for MR-03 AWD cars, the rims use a 2.5mm offset and 8.5mm width in a 10-piece build to keep profile height low and wheel-to-body clearance tight.

Forged from aluminium and precision machined to reduce flex when mounting tyres, the wheels preserve alignment and track geometry. The 2.5mm offset moves the tyre outwards in comparison to some factory rims, which helps achieve a wider stance without modifying suspension parts.

Fitting follows standard Mini-Z procedures: remove the original wheel hex, transfer tyres and foam inserts or mount compatible Mini-Z tyres directly, then secure with the original hex hardware. No specialised tools are necessary, though balancing and a final thread check are advised.

Intended use: suited to on-road and scale show setups where a wider, lower rim improves tyre support and contact patch for more predictable cornering behavior while keeping AWD driveline geometry intact.
