Alloy sinkage rims for Mini-Z AWD

This set comprises scale alloy front and rear sinkage rims supplied as 1pr, designated MZA803FR+1.5. Each wheel uses an 18-hole layout with a 1.5mm offset and an 8.5mm width, optimised for MR-03 compatible Mini-Z AWD wheel mounting and authentic tyre fitment.

Made from machined aluminium, the rims replace plastic halves to alter stance and tyre profile while leaving drivetrain components untouched. The 1.5mm offset gives a subtle outward tyre position compared with zero-offset wheels, which can correct narrow-track appearance on many bodies.

Fitting procedure is standard: remove original halves, fit tyre to the alloy rim, align the hex and centring peg and secure with the original screws and washers. Verify clearance around suspension and body mounts after installation to ensure no rubbing during operation.

Do these rims need hub modification?

No hub mods are generally required if your chassis uses MR-03 style hexes; simply check hex fit and wheel height before tightening hardware.

Can I use them with foam tyres?

Yes, provided the foam tyre matches the 8.5mm width and seats correctly on the sinkage rim profile; test-fit and adjust seating as needed.

Will wheel weight affect handling?

Aluminium rims are typically heavier than plastic halves; expect a minor change in rotational mass although driveline components do not require modification.
