Mini-Z AWD Alloy Sinkage Rim Details

This set of aluminium sinkage rims is intended for KYOSHO Mini-Z AWD chassis as a direct replacement wheel for scale RC applications. The profile is tuned for wheel fit and clearance control so you can tweak ride height and tyre seating without altering hub geometry or driveshaft alignment.

Included in the product spec are the 5p bolt pattern, a 3.5mm offset and an 8.5mm nominal rim width, all realised in aluminium alloy for consistent performance. These rims suit adjustments to scrub and stance and accommodate common tyre profiles, fitting standard Mini-Z AWD wheel nuts and MR-03 AWD compatible hex adapters.

Fitting notes: remove the existing wheel, verify hex adapter alignment and check body and suspension clearances, then fit the rim, hand-tighten the nut and complete a torque check. After installation, roll the model to confirm tyre seating and steering range and ensure no rubbing occurs at full lock.

Are these rims suitable for track use?

Yes, the aluminium construction and consistent offsets make them suitable for both club track and practice sessions, provided you set clearances correctly.

Will tyre balance be affected?

Swapping to alloy rims can change balance slightly; check tyre seating and spin the wheel to assess any imbalance before running at speed.
