Setup and fitment

This aluminium main damper is an aftermarket component for Kyosho Mini-Z MR-02 models, compatible with MR-02 MM and MR-02 RM chassis. Listed as model MZII-004, it aims to deliver consistent damping performance and easier adjustment for track setup.

The damper adjusts pitch and roll response, allowing finer balance tuning for short straights and complex corner sequences on 1/27 scale circuits. Because fit varies by chassis code, confirm MR-02 MM or RM before committing to the purchase.

To install, remove the body shell, expose the chassis damper area, replace the stock damper with the upgrade, then check clearances and linkage geometry. Use small hand tools, and re-check fasteners after initial runs to ensure stable operation.
