This RC-scale Delrin main gear is supplied as an aftermarket option for Kyosho motorcycle models. Coming as a single item, the gear is intended to sit in the drivetrain where the main gear engages the pinion and spur to transfer motor torque. Delrin material reduces friction and shows reliable wear for plastic-to-plastic gear pairs used in electric motorcycle kits.
Installation is suitable for hobbyists familiar with compact gear trains: remove the gearbox cover, take out the worn main gear, and reinstall the replacement using your original bearings and screws. When you refit, confirm axial clearance and set an appropriate mesh to prevent backlash or binding; a slight visual gap is acceptable with Delrin meshes.
Workshop notes: Delrin runs quieter than many harder materials but check for wear especially under high rpm or aggressive gear ratios. Use minimal plastic-safe grease on the gear face if needed and ensure the pinion and bearings are aligned and rolling smoothly.
