Aftermarket alloy steering housing for Kyosho models

This KM048 steering housing is a 1pc alloy replacement designed for Kyosho motor cycle models, supplied with mounting screws while the 8x12 ball bearing is not included in the package.

Made from machined aluminium to replace worn or plastic housings, the part increases stiffness at the steering interface and does not require changes to electronics such as servos or ESCs.

Installation guidance: fits existing Kyosho steering assemblies that use an 8x12 ball bearing (bearing not included). Remove the stock housing with common hand tools, confirm the bearing seat is aligned, then secure the alloy housing with the supplied screws. Inspect steering throw and endplay after fitting and adjust linkage lengths slightly for neutral steering if necessary.

Tuning advice: use this alloy housing to cut front-end flex and deliver crisper steering inputs while tuning toe, caster and damping; it is a chassis-level hop-up that complements suspension setup.

No modifications should be necessary on Kyosho frames that use an 8x12 bearing; verify hole alignment and clearances before final tightening.
Periodically check screws for tightness and inspect the bearing seat for wear; replace the bearing if you notice play or roughness.
Compatibility depends on models that accept an 8x12 bearing and the same mounting pattern; confirm your model uses that bearing size before purchasing.
