Finished to factory standards, the shell reproduces the race car's iconic look while offering proper clearance and mounting for MR-03W-MM configured Mini-Z cars. It is aimed at hobbyists who want authentic race livery without additional painting work.

Design and Use Notes

Engineered specifically for MR-03WM fitment, this Kyosho shell installs cleanly and keeps the Mini-Z profile true to scale. Note that the separately sold LED light unit set (No.MZW429R) will not fit this body, so lighting upgrades require alternative solutions.

Is this ready painted or do I need to paint it?

This item is supplied factory painted and ready to mount, so no painting is required for the standard livery shown.

Can I use aftermarket lights with this shell?

The official LED kit No.MZW429R is incompatible. Some thin custom LED assemblies might be adapted, but they may require trimming and will affect the shell contours.

What maintenance does the shell need?
