The Kyosho MZW309 Aluminium Motor Mount brings a stronger, more consistent mounting platform to MR-03 LM setups. With precision machining and a design compatible with the LL (98mm) wheelbase, it helps the car maintain balanced weight and reliable traction.

Stability When Pushing Hard

By reducing chassis movement at the motor location, the MZW309 helps the car hold its line during aggressive throttle and cornering. The tight fit reduces vibration and complements tuned damping; using the MZW310 Inner Tube Roll Shock Set will accentuate those benefits.

Fitment Details and Swap Tips

The MZW309 is intended for the Kyosho MR-03 LM chassis in LL wheelbase format. Installation is straightforward but verify motor clearance and screw engagement. Small adjustments to the drivetrain mesh may be necessary after fitting.

Does the MZW309 add significant weight to my Mini-Z?

Aluminium is denser than plastic, so there is a modest weight increase, but the improved balance and reduced flex often result in better lap times on many track surfaces.

Will I need to change my setup after installing this mount?

Expect to fine tune shock settings and possibly anti-roll settings after fitment. The mount changes how weight transfers, so small adjustments to damping and tyre choice will help dial in handling.

Is the MZW309 compatible with aftermarket motors?
