This aluminium rear hub carrier is manufactured for the Kyosho Optima 2016 and is identified by JR-OT13. It replaces the original rear carrier to create a firmer connection for the rear suspension and wheel hub while maintaining Optima 2016 alignment.
Fitting is straightforward and follows the standard carrier swap routine on 1/10 4WD buggies, reusing factory mounting points and fasteners where suitable. Ensure axle ends, wheel hexes and hub mating surfaces are clean and that removed screws are reinstalled with correct thread engagement. Standard RC maintenance tools such as hex drivers are sufficient.
In setup terms, aluminium carriers cut flex at the hub area to produce more consistent suspension behaviour under cornering and power. When tuning rear roll or anti-squat, make sure the carriers sit correctly relative to shock positions and toe inserts to retain predictable handling changes.
