Install the Kyosho OTW144 CNC deck mount

The Kyosho OTW144 CNC Deck Mount replaces the stock nylon deck mount on Optima Mid cars with a machined aluminium alternative. It is built to tighter tolerances for a more secure connection between deck and chassis.

Greater chassis stiffness

CNC precision ensures uniform part dimensions, which raises the torsional stiffness at the deck attachment points. The result is more consistent chassis behaviour and clearer feedback under load.

Improved heat transfer near the motor

Because aluminium transfers heat more readily than nylon, this deck mount helps move heat away from the motor area, aiding temperature stability during demanding runs and reducing thermal fluctuation.
