LAZER ZX7.5 drive shaft details

The LA407 center shaft is an RC replacement part designed for the LAZER ZX7.5 drivetrain. Machined from 95/7075 aluminum, it is intended to maintain straightness and minimise deflection during normal 1/10 touring car use.

Fitment is focused on the LAZER ZX7.5 platform; always verify the shaft against your chassis bearing bores and mounting points before final assembly. The center shaft positions the center gear train, passes torque between gearbox sections, and affects drivetrain backlash and runout.

Installation guidance: inspect adjacent bearings and gear teeth for wear prior to fitting, replace any worn 走珠軸承, and confirm the shaft seats cleanly without binding. Use thread locking where threads cross rotating joins and do not overtighten screws to avoid preloading bearings.

Tuning notes: fitting a stiffer, precision center shaft can reduce unwanted drivetrain flex and enhance repeatability in acceleration and braking, which helps when fine tuning differentials and suspension. Expect measured improvements in drivetrain response rather than dramatic lap time gains.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Kyosho items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
95/7075 denotes a high-strength aluminium alloy with good stiffness and fatigue resistance, making it well suited for components like center shafts where rigidity matters.
The shaft is intended for the LAZER ZX7.5 platform; compatibility with other variants is not guaranteed. Measure bearing diameters and mounting geometry on other chassis before assuming fitment.
Any weight change is minimal; the main effect of the LA407 is increased stiffness and improved driveline consistency rather than a significant shift in mass distribution.
